This is the gorgeous 848hp Aston Martin Victor
And it's got a manual gearbox. Oh what a day, what a lovely day!
Did your eyes pop out on seeing the image of the car above? Did your heart ache? If yes, then you are not alone. This is the Aston Martin Victor and it is the perfect blend of the One-77, Vulcan and Valkyrie.
This comes from Aston Martin's Q division and it is powered by a front-mounted naturally-aspirated 7.3-litre V12 which has been tinkered by Cosworth.
As a result, the Victor has 848 horsepower and 606lb ft of torque. The car also has a ‘bespoke motorsport clutch’, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes and centre-lock wheels. The Victor produces more downforce at 100mph than Aston’s current GT4 racecar.
Inside you will find the Vulcan's steering wheel, leather-finished racing bucket seats and four-point harnesses, and a manual gearbox. A manual gearbox. In an Aston Martin. This is the stuff of dreams!
Covered in Pentland Green paint, the car gets its name from the name of the man who revived Aston back in the 80s, Victor Gauntlett. Only one Victor has been made and its owned by a Belgian collector who's name hasn't been revealed.
