This Is The Most American VW Beetle - God Bless America!
Ever seen a bug with wheelie bars? Ever seen a bug with a fire paintjob? Ever seen a bug with a chevy big block? Now you have.
A good friend of mine has a Beetle, and although it may not be loved by Clarkson, the Beetle is a car that I very much enjoy looking at. Its sloping rear, curved bonnet, and the fact it has very little to do with locks.
I love that.
Then I saw this one. Noticed the widened track and wide tyres, the forward opening bonnet, and the fact it has a bloody 502 Chevy big block underneath its flame paint job.
Now this is the kind of Bug I'd want to drive in America. It should in fact be renamed 'Rhino Beetle'. That sounds a tiny bit more fitting!
At the rear you can just spy a wheelie bar as well - this car is obviously no stranger to a drag strip!
God bless America

That is definitely badass but I don't think I would consider it a beetle. Maybe a scarab!
Completely stripping a Hitler-mobile of everything that is WW2-era Germany about it and replacing it with 100% 'Merica. I think Jezza would approve. Maybe a Union Jack paint job, ala the Shaguar?
Edward John China would Approved off the UK paintwork.
Call that thing the "Dung Beetle" because when you realize what it is you say "Oh S#!+""
I want that
