The 2019 Ford Puma is something of a Marmite like substance. You either love it or hate it but people mostly seem to hate it. Granted, it's nothing like the original but it's not that bad, still not great nevertheless.
But what this graphic designer has done is made it something we would actually want sitting on our driveway. This blue Puma has been reimagined by X-Tomi Designs and it is as if a baby a Focus RS had a baby.
Obviously, with an RS variant comes more power, which everyone wants, especially from the current RS model. They currently come with a turbocharged 1.0L three-cylinder EcoBoost engine with an assisted electric motor. This results in the power varying between 123 hp and 152 hp depending on which model you have. Not too great but an RS model could have far more.
As well as more power, we would want to see much better looks as at the moment the Puma looks rather sad a gopping like. This could all change with an RS model. Obviously, the lights would remain the same but Ford could add black wheels, more aggressive looking bits, a rear spoiler, blue brake calipers like the Focus RS, and bigger intakes. I think it would look epic. Almost like the KA RS we never had...
It is unknown whether we will ever see a Puma RS from Ford but if we do, I hope it looks like this. Unless we can get a third party tuning company on the job. That could be a great little niche market which I'm sure many people would buy into.
