Underground Racing is a tuner that's made some incredible machines. This latest video from them is just one example. It's a Lamborghini Huracan that hits 200 mph in just 7 seconds. Watch their video below.

This Lamborghini Huracan TT features an X3 Version Twin Turbo System with a heavily modified engine. The company used the 5.2-liter V-10 to make 1,200 horsepower. But that's only on regular fuel. On high octane race fuel - well more than 100 octane - like was used during the run, the raging bull is making more than 3,300 horsepower.

This isn't the first time Underground Racing has shown off their Lamborghini. They claim it's the first Lamborghini to have a sub-seven-second quarter mile, and they've wheelied it from a standstill. That later achievement was the header image for this video, which just shows exactly how much power it has.

It's hard to tell just how quickly it reaches 60 mph as well, and the company does not provide it. However, I'd say slightly less than 2 seconds seems about right. For reference, Top Fuel drag racers do it in 0.8 seconds, rallycross cars hit sixty in about 1.8 seconds, current F1 cars reach it in about 2 seconds, and the Bugatti Chiron in about 2.5 seconds. And this, unlike Top Fuel dragsters, was built as a production road car and then modified. That's a very impressive time.

What do you think about this car? It's certainly impressive, but does it need to exist?

  • How the hell does a little percentage in octane triple the power? Nevertheless, I want to be laid down flat in one, head towards the front of the car, and have someone launch it. I want to see if I can stay conscious. SCIENCE.

    • its the tune, either they have a tune for low octane and a tune for high octane or the engine management system has the ability to sense the octane level and it just swaps to the low power tune when it sees a low octane, just being really...
