The McLaren F1 needs no introduction, right? Described by many as the ultimate supercar, it stole the hearts of many with its design and clever engineering courtesy of Prof. Gordon Murray.

Only 106 F1s have been made to date and so it is very rare that you will actually see one, let alone the chance that you can buy one. Now Gooding & Company is offering a pristine McLaren F1 which has stolen our souls.

Painted in lovely ‘Creighton Brown’ colour, the odometer of this F1 shows that it has only covered 250 miles.

This F1 has been kept away from the public in a private Japanese collection where it has been meticulously maintained. It has the original Goodyear Eagle F1 tires and we are told that this is the only F1 in the world to feature the ‘Creighton Brown’ paint.

The owner of this car will also get a titanium toolkit, fitted luggage and a TAG Heuer watch. This is dubbed by Gooding as the most well-preserved F1 ever to hit an auction block.

This beautiful McLaren F1 will go under the hammer at Gooding and Company's Pebble Beach Auction and it is set to fetch more than $15 million. Ouch.

  • That colour... meh. But I do like the car. How much is it? Do they really only auction it if the reserve is met...???
