This McLaren 675LT Spider Carbon Series can be yours for a cool £750,000
This limited run McLaren 675LT is a completely naked carbon special, is it worth almost double the price of the standard car?
Back in late 2016 McLaren decided to say sorry to all those disappointed customers who didn’t get a 675LT Spider in the only way it knows how, by giving them a chance to buy an even more expensive and very naked carbon version of the car they wanted in the first place.
The 675LT Spider Carbon Series features Gloss Lacquered Carbon Fibre body panels totalling around 40% more carbon parts that it’s standard sibling.
Now, this 2017 example is for sale with only 1,279 miles on the clock, it’s one of only five cars in the UK and has been specced with Napier Green detailing throughout the interior and exterior, and super lightweight forged 20-inch wheels for a few individual touches.
It even has what the advert refers to as “Stealth Finish McLaren Badges” which we can only assume confirms that the physical badge has been replaced with a much lighter sticker of sorts because weight saving and all that. Speaking of weight, the Spider Carbon Series moves itself around with the standard 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 motor with 666bhp which is good for a 0-62mph time of 2.9 seconds and 203mph of hardcore speed.
So, if you were disappointed because McLaren wouldn’t sell you a 675LT, you can now scratch that itch for a whole pile of cash for an almost naked one.
