This Meriva VXR can be yours for just £2975
An MPV on steroids for that price? Who wouldn't want that?
Meriva may not be the most recognisable name in the the Vauxhall line-up, but it was nevertheless described by the RAC automotive services as " one of the best cars in the class" (honestly I've never heard of them, so I would trust the AA more on this matter).
However, you may be surprised to know that Vauxhall made a VXR version of the MPV, which you can now buy for a reasonable price of almost £3000. Information about the car is up on AutoTrader, where it shows that it's up for sale by the Manor Oak Cars dealership in Atherstone, Warwickshire.
As it states on AutoTrader, the vehicle has done 83,000 miles and has had 9 registered owners. Unfortunately, it cannot be delivered to your door for some reason, although live video viewing of the car is available, which should prevent you from thinking that you are going to be scammed.
The car reportedly has 178bhp, and can do 0-60 in 7.9 seconds, which is faster than the upcoming Mokka VXR. The car's safety features, such as anti-lock brakes and power-assisted steering are also reportedly working.
Honestly, my consumer advice if you want a quick and cheap ride to get your kids to school and to grab your shopping at Tesco, then this is the car you should buy. The only other alternative is the upcoming Dacia Sandero, which is also a good option.
