This MX-5 looks like a comic book sketch
The Japanese Manga vibes are real.
Using a combination of paint cans and markers, Florida-based graffiti artist Kyle Bryce Monteiro or 'KBMER' creates unique hand painted custom paint jobs for cars, and this is his latest work of art - an NB Mazda MX-5 Miata.
His artwork plays close resemblance to Japanese comic books - so much so that he's lined up his previous job, a Nissan 350Z with the Miata for an epic 1:1 scale freeze frame of a classic Manga drift scene.
Previous to the MX-5's whacky comic style paint job, it was painted in a totally different but just as eye catching blue and purple colour, sitting on the same visual lowered suspension and wheels.
On the artist's Facebook post, he credits inspiration from a page called Animauto, who specialises in painting similar designs onto 1:24 scale models. KBMER has taken it to the next level with the 1:1 scale designs.
