This new AC Cobra is every petrolheads dream ride
But is it worth the heavy price tag?
The mighty Cobra is back! A third brand new car from the legendary AC Cobra family is up for sale in the UK after the first two models gained tonnes of attention amongst potential buyers.
AC's UK dealer, Boss Motor Company will be the sole trader of the specially-recreated AC Cobra 378 Superblower MkIV, a sports car with true AC pedigree. Originally re-launched in 1998, this car has been a popular talking point amongst collectors and petrolheads - despite only selling a handful in the 22-year period.

Under the bonnet sits a meaty 6.2-litre supercharged V8 that produces 580 horsepower and is mated to a manual six-speed gearbox, promising ear-to-ear smiles for both the driver and passenger.

The following spec is included:
Aluminium radiator and header tank with electric cooling fan, high-performance race spec calipers with ventilated Discs, limited slip differential, front and rear multi-link suspension with coil over shock absorbers, front and rear anti-roll bars, Pin Drive 8" x 16" Front - 10" x 16" rear wheels, a hand crafted interior finished in black leather, a leather covered instrument panel with AC branded instruments, 13" leather wrapped steering wheel, heating and air conditioning, chrome-plated front and rear bumpers and full-weather equipment/covers.
So how much does this modern-built, classic cost? A lot, is the short answer. An eye-watering £129,500 to be exact. That being said, if you're in the market for a reborn classic, you'd struggle to find more interesting car.
Orders are now being taken for the new factory-built AC Cobra 378 Superblower MkIV at Boss Motor Company. The car will come with a certificate of authenticity from AC Cars and a designated 'COB' chassis number.
