This Nissan GT-R rally car is the coolest thing you'll see today
And it's for sale!
Ever since the R35 Nissan GT-R came out back in 2007, I have always wondered how long it would be until a rally-version is made. Well, now the wait is over.
The GT-R is one of those cars like the Supra or M3 which receive a lot of attention because of their tunable potential. Most people go for power but this owner had off-roading in mind and it looks and drives in a way which you wouldn't imagine.
So, what's been done to turn this Nissan GT-R into a super rally car? Well, it has received some upgraded suspension which increases the ride height to 4.72 inches (12 centimeters). The wheel arches have been flared to accommodate the massive set of off-road tyres.
You will also notice the cool looking camo wrap which actually suits this build really well. Aside from those you will notice a roof-mounted spare wheel and an LED light bar fitted above the windshield, as well as a set of LED spotlights fitted to the bumper. This truly is a car ready for the Baja rally.
But what about the engine? Has that been tinkered with? Well, yes it has. The twin-turbo 3.8L V6 now produces around 600 horsepower up from around 479 hp as standard. And with a claimed 0-62mph time of around 2.5 seconds and a top speed of over 200 mph, this thing will destroy most things off and on the road.
What makes this even better as it could be yours. This thing is actually for sale at Classic Youngtimers Consultancy in the Netherlands.
They are asking 95,000 Euros (around $107,000) for this build which is quite a bit steeper than a stock GT-R but considering what has been done, it is good value for money and it only has 29k miles on the clock. Go on, we know you want to buy it.
Would you buy this?
