Green Carbon Fibre Exterior

McLaren Sennas have grown on me so evidently I have been following the delivery drops and what specs the owners have gone for. One such owner is Michael Fux who's got the first customer McLaren Senna to be delivered in North America.

Fux is known for having extremely bespoke options for his cars and this time was no different. For his McLaren Senna he went for an exposed green carbon fibre exterior which McLaren have called "Fux Green". And according to Zero2Turbo just this option alone cost the owner approximately $500,000!

This colour scheme and the weave can be found in 67 body panels and took almost 1000 hours to finish. When McLaren were showing him the green colour variants, nothing was emerald green so coincidentally he looked at his shoe which had a piece of patent leather in green. He then told McLaren that is his green, they photographed it and the result what you see in the images.

There will be only 500 McLaren Sennas produced each capable of doing 0-60mph in just 2.7 seconds and producing 789bhp.

  • Great color. Hideous car. This is the first high performance ugly car that, to me, the performance and functionality of the design doesn't out weight the ugly (ex where it does: gumpert Apollo). Good for Fux and for you for being able to look past the ugly. But, I just can't. The P1 is so damn beautiful and the rest of the lineup looks great. But, this... This just hurts my eyes.

    • That way I can digest this design is thinking it was a car designed in the 90’s with modern touches an leds,

  • I wish more automotive photographers would get in and give us a close up on the carbon weave patterning. That green carbon's gonna look gorgeous in natural sunlight.

  • If you think the $500000 option is expensive, then you're not supposed to be thinking of buying this car.
