This Porsche 911 GT RS wannabe is a hilarious fail
The kit car community is an interesting sector of the automotive world, seemingly these people are after one thing, to create a replica of a much more expensive car from a much cheaper car. This often provides for hilarious results such as a Pontiac Fierro-based Ferrari F40.
However, sometimes these kits can be somewhat decent looking, or in the case of this Porsche GT RS, you might start asking yourself, "What the fu*k was that guy smoking?".
The "car" you see above is likely a misguided acid trip, and has GT2 RS decals on the side to give it "legitimacy". Finished in a very vivid yellow paint color, you certainly won't be missing this monstrosity. Currently listed on Craigslist in New York, the Pontiac based Fierro runs off of a rather gutsy 2.8-liter V6 engine, which, the seller claims has been recently rebuilt.
Now at this point you might be asking yourself just how much this basket of automotive exelnce will cost you, well you're in luck because this 1:1 perfect replica will cost you just $4,800. A pretty good price considering what a real one of these would cost you.
