This stunning, almost brand new Jaguar XJ220 is for sale
A remarkable piece of British motoring in exceptional condition
After a stunning victory at the 1988 24 Hours of Le Mans, Jaguar decided to create a new supercar. The XJ220 was born in 1992 and only 281 units were produced until 1994, making it a very exclusive car that is highly sought after by collectors today.
This is fortunate as an extremely well preserved example has appeared on the Canepa website. Extremely well preserved would be an understatement as the XJ220 presented here is in near new condition with only 1,667 mi (2,682 km) on the clock! This is the example nr.237 in a rare configuration.
XJ220s with Monza Red exterior and beige interior colours are indeed hard to find. But finding an XJ220 in any condition is a difficult task in itself! This XJ220 also has an unusual history as it was in Europe until 2001 before being shipped to the USA.
The car has never been registered despite the transatlantic journey and the many years that have passed. So it is officially a new car with all its original parts, including the 3.5-litre V6 with 549 PS and 644 Nm of torque. That's more than enough to make the asking price of this beast soar!
