This Tesla Semi A-Team concept is going to divide opinions

Tesla announced and postponed plans to start production of its all-electric semi-truck, laconically called the Semi (yeah, I know), a couple of times. The truck is planned to enter production in 2020 and that means that renders and concepts are now everywhere on the Internet. This is one of the most interesting yet, and definitely destined to divide opinions.

Dubbed the E-Team render, the Semi has been converted into a van and designed as a replica of the ultra-famous A-Team Van. The A-Team, it's fair to assume everybody knows this, was an extremely popular American television show that ran from 1983 to 1987. In the story, four former members of a fictitious United States Army Special Forces unit, on the run after being court-martialed for something they didn't actually do, get by as soldiers of fortune. It starred George Peppard, Dirk Benedict, Dwight Schultz and Mr. T, playing John "Hannibal" Smith, Templeton Peck, H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock and Bosco "B.A." Baracus respectively.

More importantly, it starred a 1983 GMC Vandura used by the A-Team and this Tesla Semi E-Team reproduces all the distinctive features of the original GMC Van including the red stripe, the black and red turbine mag wheels and a rooftop spoiler.
