But anyone with a sense of proportion is wondering if Mike Fernie's ancestral train set will ever run again. In part one of this nail-biting series, things looked promising, but then didn't.   • My dad just got a Lionel 1666 model working again. It last worked 40+ years ago . It had been made in 1947 I believe, and had been my grandfather’s train set as a kid.
