We all have our vices. Some people have a weakness for fast food. Some people drink too much. Some people listen to Mumford & Sons.

Me? I like to watch car spotting videos on Youtube.

I'm not proud of it. But then, if I was, it wouldn't be a guilty pleasure. Honestly, I just find it rather relaxing to switch my brain off every now and then, and vicariously explore car meets around the world, admiring beautiful, rare supercars without actually having to suffer the inconvenience of having to stand up or put clothes on. Sue me.

But today my dweebish pastime has paid dividends - because I've just watched a video of perhaps the most outrageous car meet ever to take place.

It didn't happen in Beverly Hills, or outside some prestigious Concours event on the riviera. It happened at a cruddy service station, one hour outside of Tokyo, Japan. And you have never seen a collection of cars quite like this.

Youtuber and car spotter extraordinaire Effspot was there with his trusty camera, marvelling at the incredible cars as they arrived, and narrating with his trademark eloquence, providing unforgettable soundbites such as 'Ooh, sweet spec on this one' and 'Wow that is really nice'.

Check out the video below to see (to name but a few) a road-legalised Lamborghini race car, A Diablo GTR, the most bonkers-specced Murcielago on planet Earth, a Ferrari F40, oh - and a gang of three F50s - all heavily modified. Only in Japan. I've you're impatient type, skip the first 3 minutes - that's when the real madness begins.
