Throwback to the 10.400Rpm screaming VW Scirocco Mk1 of Hans Paulitsch
One of the best sounding Berg-Cup machines ever, all with only 1600cc of displacement
Coming from what seems now to be a distant 2012 year, this is Hans Paultisch´s VW Scirocco Mk1 screamer, one of our favourite Berg-Cup machines of all time. Powered by a 1.6L Naturally Aspirated engine producing a sonorous 254Hp/10.400Rpm, it benefitted from a total weight around 800Kg to be one of the fastest 1.6L class Monsters of the old Group H.
Here it can be seen attacking St. Agatha Bergrennen, one of the fastest Hillclimbs of the year in the Berg-Cup calendar, where you can observe with the Onboard footage just how quick and how high revving this little Monster is.
