Tiger Woods rushed to hospital following car crash in Los Angeles
The golfer had to be cut out his vehicle in L.A.
Professional golfer Tiger Woods has been rushed to hospital following injuries from a car crash in Los Angeles at 7am.
Woods was driving alone in his car near Rancho Palos Verdes when his vehicle rolled over. Fire fighters had to use the 'jaws of life' to break open the car and rescue him.
In a statement, the sheriff's department said: 'On February 23, at approximately 7.12am, LASD responded to a single vehicle roll-over traffic collision on the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes.
'On February 23, at approximately 7.12am, LASD responded to a 'single vehicle roll-over' traffic collision on the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes.
'The vehicle was traveling northbound on Hawthorne Boulevard, at Blackhorse Road, when it crashed. The vehicle sustained major damage.'
His current condition is unknown, but we do know he sustained 'multiple leg injuries', but to what extent, is unknown.
