Missed your chance to own a McLaren Senna? We might have a solution. As we previously reported, only eight Senna's were reserved for South Africa, each with a price tag of around ZAR 35 million. Now, one - with only 11kms on the odometer - has gone up for sale at Romans International in the UK. The best part about this car is that it is right hand drive, so registering it locally, should be a breeze. Only 500 of McLaren's most extreme road legal car are being built, and while it may not be as powerful as the hybridized McLaren P1, it is more track-focused than any road-legal McLaren before it. The Senna is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with 588kw and 800nm. Incidentally, that motor is the most powerful combustion engine ever fitted to a McLaren. Weighing just 1,197kgs, it’s also the lightest McLaren since the Mclaren F1. The Woking-based automaker claims that, despite being street-legal, the Senna can lap any circuit faster than the track-only P1 GTR. And with a 800kg of downforce at 250kph, 0-100kph blast in 2.8 seconds, 200kph coming up 4 seconds later, 0-300kph done in just 18.8 seconds, and a top speed of 340kph, it’s not inconceivable at all. This Senna is equipped with a host of options, including ultra-lightweight wheels, a Bowers & Wilkins 7 speaker audio system, Gorilla Glass, McLaren’s Track Telemetry system, and numerous Mclaren Special Operations carbon-fibre parts. Roman's did not release any pricing for this Mclaren Senna, but expect it to carry a signification premium over its original GBP 750 000 (ZAR 13.5 million) asking price. #TunedAutomotive #AutoAdvisor #CRBN8
