Too often E30s have been modded to hell and back because of the versatility of the platform. When I bought my 1989 318i, my goal was to take everything back to stock as possible. Even with only 113hp (when new), I've managed to keep up with Porsche 964s up in the mountain twisties. It certainly is worthy of the Ultimate Driving Machine moniker.

  • God heard my prayers! You`re only third man, who likes and makes strict stock e30! My great respects! Maybe you`ll install stock 14-inch alloy rims?)

  • This is a great post. I shared it on God's Chariot - a dedicated E30 tribe I'm getting started.

  • You've got yourself a crazy clean E30! You make a seriously valid point here too - the E30 is increasingly becoming one of the most heavily modified platforms, and it does tend to get a little old with some of the builds out there. They seem to be underappreciated for what they are stock. There's something to be said for those who can stay in love with a car that's close to or in its original form. Thanks for sharing!
