Took the minions to the Aviation Museum at Warner Robins AFB. Any day you get time with a Blackbird is a good day. They also had one of the U-2s that operated off an aircraft carrier. The U-2 is the biggest small aircraft around. Overall, there were lots of cool planes and the weather was good. #avgeek #planelopnik

  • The Air and Space Museum has some interesting shots on their Flickr from the renovation. We went to the A&S Museum the summer they first opened, and it remained largely unchanged for 40 years. I'd love to see how it looks now.

  • Always my favorite afternoon escape if I'm in Dayton or Cincinnati for work! I love that place, but boy is it hard on photographers: planes over top of other planes, narrow sight lines and if you dare shoot anything up, all you see is spotlights in your viewfinder! I guess that's the reason I keep going back - the pics just don't capture it all! You definitely shot some good ones, thanks for sharing!

  • I took my son there when he was 8 or 10. He's 25 now. I want to go back. It's not big but it has some cool stuff.

I thought I knew quite a bit about P-2V's. I learned what an RB-69 is at my last visit. Never heard of them prior to the visit.
