Top 10 'Vettel' Funniest Tweet Awards - Japanese Grand Prix 2018
Welcome to another special edition of the Funniest Tweet Awards, this time in honour of Sebastian Vettel who saw a little bit more red mist and had a little bit more impatience during today's race.
Unfortunately, this was at the expense of his championship title fight, but definitely not for the good folks of Twitter, who rose to the occasion and produced some truly hilarious tweets,
Without further ado here is the Top 10 'Vettel' Funniest Tweet Awards:
@SimonGBrooks for on board footage of Vettel as he attempted to overtake Max Verstappen, despite knowing Max had a 5-second time penalty for his incident with Kimi earlier. Definitely a case of red mist!
@MostlyWriting asking what most F1 fans were asking too as Vettel's championship hopes are fading quicker than the early autumnal morning mist
@PitCrew_Online with the conspiracy theory of Vettel's easy passes on Leclerc both times during the race...
@Planet_F1 with an image of Vettel's biggest enemy this weekend, the spoon curve. Did anyone else lose track of the number of times it proved a little tricky round that corner?
@SkyF1Insider showing accurate footage of Ferrari and Vettel's championship chances following this race...
@ParthP77 with live footage of the Ferrari pit wall folloiwng Vettel's incident with Verstappen that left him near the back of the grid with a monumental hill to climb
@TarasDemerson for track footage of the Vettel/Verstappen incident
@dibhayles as with every incident there's always a witness and this weekend it's a Haiku inspired Kimi
@RenaultSportF1 saying what everyone else was thinking during the incident...
@Jontys_Corner with this tweet about Vettel's championship title hopes following this race ... talk about throwing it away!
