Top 15 Styled British Cars On Sale Today
Welcome all! As of popular demand, we'll finally be exploring the best looking British-made cars that are in still in production in today's car market. All cars are based upon exterior design only, not interiors or historical significance. In order to qualify, the car must either still be in production or must have recently ceased production within the last 3 years.
Yes, there's 15 cars due to too many brilliantly designed vehicles.
15. McLaren 570S GT
A comfortable and refined McLaren. It masterfully manages the crazy design of a McLaren whilst still appearing as a sensible GT cars. The egg-ish shape isn't to everyone's taste though, neither are the rear taillights.
14. McLaren Senna
The Senna is more functional than stunning and has received a lot of controversy lately. It's still brilliant to look at and one can appreciate it even more once they realise what each exterior component does. However, there are still cars which are faster and less crazily designed.
13. Bentley Mulsanne Speed
This is one of the coolest luxury cars on sale today. It's got the presence and screams "move out of the way you peasant", or "the mafia have arrived". The headlights look strange at first but they grow on you after a while and definitely in the flesh.
12. Jaguar Project 8
The craziest Jaguar saloon ever made, it looks simply insane. The front bumper design is rather cool as is almost everything about it. Some would argue that the rear wing looks silly and the car could be somewhat overstyled.
11. Lotus Exige Cup 430
Probably one of the nicest looking Lotuses ever made. It's far nicer to look at in person and is larger than you'd expect, giving it presence. The best part is, it's all functional design.
10. TVR Griffith
TVR is back! They'll be delivering their newest model to their customers later this year. It looks both muscular and sporty, although, it does look quite strange. The side-exit exhausts though are simply cool.
9. Morgan Aero 8
Have you ever wanted to be stuck several decades in the past like James May? Look no further, Morgan has you covered! Richard Hammond has one of these, it's a modern approach to a classic sports car. It looks simply stunning and elegant.
8. Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge
It's obnoxious as a Rolls-Royce should be, yet somewhat subtle thanks to the Black Badge specifications. It's got presence, two doors, four seats and the nicest paintwork you'll ever see.
7. McLaren 675LT Spider
Based on the 650S, the 675LT is a high-performance supercar. It has the looks, the right amount of carbon fibre and one of the coolest sets of headlights in the exotic car world.
6. Bentley Continental GT
It even looks heavy in the photo. The design was a significant improvement over the outgoing Continental. The length and width of the car ensure it won't be mistaken for your mediocre BMW or Mercedes. It screams "cool"... also "snob" in some cases.
5. Aston Martin DB11
Everyone thought it would be almost impossible to beat the design of the DB9... and they were somewhat right. Whilst this car is brilliant to look at, the headlights are not to everyone's taste, neither are the taillights. I personally quite like it and can see both sides to the argument.
4. Aston Martin Vanquish S Volante
You can no longer configure this car on Aston's website, the car is almost dead and will be completely replaced by the DBS Superleggera. This grand tourer certainly had one of the best looks of all time of any Aston.
3. McLaren 720S Spider
The best styled McLaren on sale today. It's got a balance of sharp rigid lines like a hypercar and the subtle curves of a luxurious sports car. It looks menacing, yet a comfortable cruiser from the future.
2. Aston Martin DBS Superleggera
It almost made first place, it's almost perfect. Could the grille be a bit too big like a fish? Other than that, it's simply stunning and I don't have many words to describe it.
1. Jaguar F-Type SVR
Could this the best looking car that Britain currently produces? Quad exhausts, giant carbon-ceramic brakes, a subtle wing and the styling of the brilliant F-Type, is the SVR is perfect?
