Christmas is just around the corner and right now I'm confident in predicting that you haven't bought your Lynx Africa gift set yet. Fear not, I bring you an exciting list of gifts to get the motorsport fan in your life.

There are countless presents that you can give a motorsport obsessed individual. I heard petrol-scented candles are a must-buy this year. I’ve compiled a list of great Christmas gifts to get someone who’s interested in motorsport or just the automotive industry in general.

So, without further ado, here's five great Christmas gift ideas for a motorsport fan.

F1 Authentics

Where else could you buy a signed champagne bottle used by F1 drivers?

Following the crazy 2021 F1 season, we’ve seen a huge increase in Formula One’s popularity thanks to the Netflix series Drive To Survive. This exponential increase in F1 fans has meant that websites like F1 Authentics are more popular than ever.

Where else can you get an official signed piece of bodywork from Sebastian Vettel’s Aston Martin? F1 Authentics offer everything from 1:1 scale helmets to signed teamwear. Recently, the website launched its sale ahead of the festive season and has some great deals.

You can get a framed Esteban Ocon 2020 cap that’s also been signed for £100 – that’s down from £200. Whilst that may seem like a steep price for a cap, other items like the signed Kimi Raikkonen 2020 race suit (£2500) might be a useful investment in the future. Maybe some of the AMR21 bodywork from the Saudi Arabian GP is still lying around somewhere...

Omologato Watches have been making waves in the motorsport world for years now and this year has been no different. It’s brand new Le Mans ‘59 and Maranello California ‘57 (pictured above) have been the stars of its lineup this year.

Omologato have also released a watch that depicts the smooth curvature of Acque Minerali, one of motorsport’s most infamous corners.

Whilst the watches I’ve mentioned are priced around £380, they’re far more affordable than some brands that add motorsport related elements to their watches.

Omologato wants to make motorsport watches accessible to everyone. They also offer a watch called the Tifosi for just £99 which offers fans to show off their favourite motorsport icons. I have the Stuttgart, a watch that sports the livery colours of the Porsche Le Mans team, celebrating their success.

Omologato lives and breathes motorsport. So if you’re a big motorsport fan and need a watch this Christmas, why not try something from Omologato?

Racetrack art

Here's the racetrack outlines I bought earlier last year

Here's the racetrack outlines I bought earlier last year

If you need to jazz up your decor at home, look no further. These racetrack outlines from RetroGP are pretty good to show off your favourite racetracks. I’ve had the small versions of Monaco and the Nürburgring for nearly 18 months and I highly recommend them.

You can get so many outlines of racetracks around the world. Popular tracks include Silverstone, Monaco, Brands Hatch, Kylami, and even the Goodwood circuit.

The smallest outlines (shown in picture above) cost around £45, the medium size £85, and the largest outlines cost £170. This is all without shipping costs so it could cost a lot more depending on where you live.

Forza Horizon 5

Although Forza has built a reputation of being a game where you can relax and drive around, it's worth playing if you're looking for something to do during your downtime. This might be an Xbox and PC exclusive, it's something you won't regret buying.

As my good friend Miles Lambi puts it, "Forza Horizon 5 is the perfect combination of a unique, vibrant open world to rip around in the fastest car you can get your hands on."

This game will give you countless hours of fun whilst giving you that all important motoring feel as it boasts a varied selection of over 500 cars – that's just at launch. Many more cars and upgrades are expected to be added to the game in the new year so keep an eye out for any updates from Forza.

If you're like me and you're one of the lucky people to own a PS5, then you'll realise that you can't play Forza as it's an Xbox and PC exclusive title. Fear not, I've got something for Playstation gamers too. Gran Turismo 7 is set to release on March 4th 2022 – so you'll have to wait a little longer for that. But judging by recently released gameplay, it's looking like an amazing game.

You can buy Forza Horizon 5 for Xbox or PC for £54.99 here.
