Top 5 Fastest Cars Round the Nurburgring

Tell me which of these cars are your favourite and why

Porsche 911 GT2 RS (2018)

Porsche 911 GT2 RS (2018)

5. Porsche 911 GT2 RS - Time 6.47.30

This car has a beautiful twin turbo 3.8L Flat Six with allows it to go up to 211 MPH and of course to the power of your right foot you have 690 BHP which allows the car to go from 0-60 MPH in just 2.7 seconds making it unbelievably fast. It managed to go round the Nurburgring in 6.47.30 which means its faster than a Lamborghini Huracan Performante and Porsche's own 918 Spyder!!!!

Nio EP9

Nio EP9

4. Nio EP9 - Time 6.45.90

Where to start eh? Chinese Hyper Car: Unheard of I hear you ask. But you must not tease this car as it's one of the fastest cars from the Nurburgring. Personally I like this car, but it's scary. Yes VERY scary as Richard Hammond proved when he drove it. When you put your foot down it's like a Doctor Who Special Effect everything is flying past you at 10000000000 MPH and for a sec your at the start but then you are half way round the track. The EP9 have 1360 BHP which is enough to rip the hair from your scalp. Furthermore, it has been proven at one time it was the fastest electric car round the Nurburgring. Although it isn't now we all know and (some of us) love this car it's a great idea put into action but I wouldn't want to drive it or have a ride in it. When it accelerates it feels like your in the a super sonic fighter jet. The car has head rests all round the seats due to the immense pressure from G-Forces. This is a truly amazing car.

Lamborghini Aventador SVJ

Lamborghini Aventador SVJ

3. Lamborghini Aventador SVJ - Time 6.44.97

Yes some may be surprised to hear that his car has made it this far up the lap board, but it has although most of it's neighbours on the lap board have pretty much twice the power this Lamborghini has made a great achievement. Like the standard Aventador, the SVJ will do 217 MPH and has 770 BHP it's naturally aspirated V12 is a piece of pure ingenuity. How did they get that much power from that V12 without some Super charging trickery? It has 720 Nm of torque and all that means it will go from 0-60 MPH in just 2.6 seconds!!! I personally adore this car and I have been lucky enough to be able to have a ride in one, it sounds amazing. It is a shame, however, that Lamborghini couldn't improve the top speed as some could argue that buying the standard car is a better choice. But I would argue it's a Lamborghini that's all that matters and it has way more power and better top speed and a faster 0-60 time. People who say that can't afford one of these ;)

Volkswagen ID R

Volkswagen ID R

2. Volkswagen ID R - Time 6.05.336

This is no Chav-tastic Golf. This a proper racing car it has already earned a name for its self with numerous people praising its name. Of course VW needed some time in the lime light and I think they have earned it. The ID R features two electric motors combined producing 680 BHP. It can go from 0-60 MPH in 2.25 seconds. The chassis for this car was co-developed by a certain company called Norma, and French hill climb specialist which explains why the VW ID R is so good when doing hill races. It is so fat boy had it weighs under 1,100 Kilograms making it pretty light weight. I have high hopes for this car and as I mentioned earlier it's already got a name for itself.

Porsche 919 Hybrid EVO

Porsche 919 Hybrid EVO

1. Porsche 919 Hybrid EVO - Time 5.19.545

Yes the car you have all been waiting for, the Porsche 919 Hybrid EVO the king of the unforgiving, extremely hardcore Nurburgring. Yes this is the 919 Hybrid EVO and it can go up to 216 MPH. It had 710 BHP and has a 2.2 L Turbo charged V4 with an electric Motor. Without the electric motor it would have 493 BHP. It can go from 0-60 in just 2.2 seconds that is the same as the Bugatti Veyron. I like they way this looks as well. The sleek design allows it to be extremely aerodynamic with the massive wing that the back providing down force to prevent the car from flipping upside down , which poor Richard Hammond is very good at ;).
