1. Mercedes Benz AMG S6
Now you're probably wondering why this is at the top of my list. The reason why this is number 1 for me is because I've personally ridden in the back of one of these as a passenger, and let me tell you, it was probably one of the best rides of my life. It's sleek, classy design really caught my eye. You don't even notice the acceleration, you don't feel every little bump and pothole in the road, and honestly it's like you're driving on a cloud. The seats are extremely comfortable, they mould to your body, wrapping you in a soft, leather cocoon, and the handling of the car is a breeze. It doesn't matter how fast it goes, because the ride speaks for itself.
2. Rolls-Royce Phantom
An extravagant statement of wealth and luxury, the Phantom is an utter joy and pleasure to drive. It's extremely comfortable and isolated ride comfort can not only be felt rom the back seat, which is amazing on so many levels., it is also surprisingly quiet and smooth despite its latest run-flat tire technology. It may weigh nearly three tonnes, but it will reach 0-100 at a surprising rate through the gears faster than the latest Focus RS. The V12 engine is flexible yet powerful, and can be reached with ease with just the slightest touch of the throttle.
3. Bentley Bentayga
The Bentayga has a lush interior, exterior, and performance make it stand out even as an SUV. It may not be as comfortable as the Rolls-Royce Phantom or Cullinan because of its slightly more sporty handling, meaning you'll feel its fussiness over certain bumps and dips of the road at different speeds. But don't worry, it won't knock your Gran's dentures out if you go over a speed hump.
4. Range Rover SVAutobiography
Even though its name may be a mouthful, but the all-new SVAutobiography has given Range Rover a facelift. You also have a couple options for the engine as well - a petrol V8, diesel V8, or a four cylinder plug in hybrid powertrain. The SV is purely a 4-seater though, but are a special "lounge" version for added comfort.
5. Bentley Continental GT
The new GT features an all-new body, and all-new comfort, and has something for everyone. Although it is only offered as a four seater convertible, it packs a mighty punch with its 528hp twin-turbo W-12 engine. It's a smooth ride, highly responsive when it comes to steering and breaking, and has the same comfort level as other Bentley's. And it's a sight for sore eyes! Anyone have an extra $220,000 I can borrow?
