Top 5 Motorsport Events In January.
Formula E: Marrakesh and Santiago (Saturday 12th and Saturday 26th)
Although the 5th season of Formula E kicked off in December with a hectic opening round, the season really gets into it's grove in January with the second round in Marrakesh (Saturday 12th), Morocco and the third in Santiago, Chile (Saturday 26th). Antonio Felix Da Costa won the first round in Saudi Arabia despite a very fast Jean Eric-Vergne close behind and it's anyone's for the taking in the next rounds. With close exciting racing guaranteed it is a must watch to kick of a great year of racing.

24 Hours of Daytona 2019 (Saturday 26th, Sunday 27th January)
The first major endurance race of 2019 is a big one, the Daytona 24 Hours arguably America's marquee endurance event. This years event is particularly noticeable for the sheer number of stand out names competing including Fernando Alonso in his first race since leaving F1, as well as the truly inspiring Alex Zanardi competing in a modified factory BMW in the GT category there are also a host of names from the wider-world of endurance racing to look out for battling out against Formula One legends. If you are interested in endurance racing or just Sportscar racing make sure you watch for it.

Race of Champions 2019 (Saturday 19th, Sunday 20th)
The annual race of champions event which this year hails from Mexico City, Mexico has become something of a prominent fixture in the motorsport calendar, it is a somewhat lighthearted start to many top drivers season before the serious pre-season tests. With world class drivers from Sebastian Vettel to Petter Solberg and stars from all disciplines of motorsport battling out on the ragged edge in all manors of cars, from a Euronascar to a KTM X-bow and anything in-between. ROC is always a fun couple of days that in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really matter but where else will you see a Indy 500 winner taking on the reigning World Rallycross champion.

Autosport International (Saturday 12, Sunday 13th)
The Autosport International is the unofficial beginning to the Motorsport season with the launch of both the new World Rally Championship season and the British Touring Car Championship, the stars of both championships are on hand to unveil there new cars for the forthcoming season. There is a host of famous names and faces from Formula 1 as well including the Mclaren 2019 driver partnership of Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz, there are also a host of legendary race cars alongside the state of the art modern equivalent. this is a brilliant event to go to to get you in the mood for a year of terrific Motorsport.

WRC Rallye Monte-Carlo 2019 (Thursday 24th, Sunday 27th)
The World Rally Championship once again kicks of with it's flagship event the mightily prestigious Rallye Monte-Carlo. We will be able to not only find out how reigning champion Sebastien Ogier manages to cope with the under performing Citroen, but we will also witness Sebastien Loeb return to the WRC however not in a Citroen but in a much more competitive Hyundai. The Monte-Carlo Rally is legendary around the world and is a must watch for any true motorsport fan.
