From the moment the idea of DRIVETRIBE (DT) was conceived, like all other forums, meant it relied heavily on interaction of fan base.
The whole concept was also something new, Refreshing, and of course allowed Clarkson, May & Hammonds ever increasing fan base a place to idolise their heroes.
That’s not such a terrible thing, but in my opinion, what makes it a winner, it allowed people with different interests to interact with each other and share their hobbies and writing talents.
The first point
The idea of this article is simply the last part, Writing Talent. And trust me when I say DT has them a plenty. However, there is only one issue, most don’t get recognised, and not because the wonderful people of DT are not doing anything about it (trust me, they are), it simply gets drowned in volume of noise generated in form of car pictures and articles about the trio.
The second point
So, I decided to do something about that, and the idea was born.
Each week, I will include my top five articles, written by some wonderful talents in DT, which I believe deserve a mention.
What was the selection criteria? I hear you ask. Well simple, I have applied the following rules:
The Golden Rules
1- I am following your tribe.
2- You are following my tribe.
3- You have written something which actually has words in it and most importantly, is not about James, Clarkson and Hammond (you already get idiotic level of impressions, so you really don’t need me to blow your bubble).
4- Last rule, with my actual day job, and my own writing time for my own articles, looking after two kids and provide adequate level of reason for my dear beloved to moan at me, I don’t have time to read everything posted. So, if you are already tick off rule one and two above, you can drop me a message and I will take a look at your article.
5- This article will be published every Sunday.
Hey, I am a little guy, I want people to like my article.
Well that’s ok Little buddy, follow the above five (I promise I will stop adding rules) golden rules, and who knows the next instalment of this article might include your great article.
