Top Marques Monaco postponed (again) to June 2022
The 17th edition, originally scheduled for June 2020, is moved to 2022
The 17th edition of Top Marques Monaco, originally scheduled for June 2020, was initially postponed to September 2021 and it is now being postponed again to June 2022.
Top Marques Monaco was created in 2004 as a luxury car show with a focus on limited edition supercars and custom made sportscars and over the years, the show gradually evolved to include other luxury items such as watches and boats. In 2019, under new management, the show was revamped as the owners decided to focus 100% on cars. It was great, although I personally think the 2017 and 2018 editions were more fun, and I was looking forward to this year's edition but it seems I'm gonna have to wait one more year.
The new dates are June 8-12, 2022 and the show will take place at the Grimaldi Forum.
Salim Zeghdar, CEO of Top Marques, said it was "a difficult decision to make, but conditions are not in place today for the event to be held with total peace of mind".
"The lack of visibility and international restrictions still in effect have forced us to reluctantly postpone the 17th edition of Top Marques Monaco until next year," Zeghdar said. "This new date will allow us to welcome our exhibitors and our visitors, many of whom come from abroad, in the best possible conditions. My team and I are already working on the organisation of what will be an exceptional edition. We are looking forward to promoting the luxury transport industry and its innovations throughout the Principality and beyond. We are preparing a number of surprises, as well as working on several novelties for the event".
Pagani, Ferrari, Apollo, Koenigsegg, McLaren, Lamborghini, Porsche and Aston Martin are going to attend with more manufacturers and brands to be announced soon.
