The Exotic Graphix crew, headed by Nick Caminiti, edged out no less than 223 other companies from 21 countries at SEMA Show to be crowned number one in the world. With this being the first year entrants from Australia and New Zealand were eligible to compete, in the process the Victoria-based workshop created history by becoming the first ever victor of this prestigious global competition from the Australasian region.

With 35,000 views in just the first two weeks of launching its entry video, Exotic Graphix was quietly confident of a top three spot, but never dreamed of an outright win.

  • I think that it's more accessible than true custom paint, and you'll probably see it a lot more in the future, but nothing compares to the real deal. It's still beautiful, regardless, and isn't that the point?
