Toyota finally unveils the first image of the all-new Tundra
After a handful of leaks the day before, Toyota finally decided to unveil the first official image of the new generation of its flagship pickup truck, the Tundra. Replacing a model that came out in 2007, it's no surprise to see some major styling updates.
The newcomer changes everything and adopts a grille that extends over the bumper. It's angular and even more imposing than the current model. Note the Toyota lettering and the Tundra name at the bottom, two details that show that this is the TRD Pro version.
This assumption is confirmed by the presence of small yellow lights in the grille indicating that the vehicle is over 80 inches wide (2.03 m). Added to this are the small black wheels with high sidewall tyres, ideal for off-roading.
The rear end and interior have not yet been revealed, but this will happen soon as the Japanese brand has been double-crossed by spies. Under the bonnet, the new Tundra will have a new V6 iForce MAX engine as well as another still secret powertrain.
