Toyota Kirloskar motors launches BS6 Version Of Innova Crysta. Starts @t 15.36 lakh .
Toyota Bharat has launched the bs6 version of their most flagship MPV Innova Crysta in India. This version is future ready and is tweaked and altered to a major extent that it fulfills all the stringent norms of BS6 Emissions. Toyota Innova has been for a long mainstay since it's initial launch in 2005 and conversion to BS6 Version has increased it's price by 1.3 Lakh. The current price tag is an introductory price which means that Toyota can still hike it's price in upcoming future.
In terms of mechanical counterpart, Toyota has chosen only one diesel mill, the 2.4l D-4D for an upgrade to meet the stringent bs6 emission norms. Now, the 2.4l diesel mill gets a Diesel Particulate Filter(DPF) And a Selective Catalytic Reduction(SCR) which reduces the Carbon Dioxide Emission by leaps and bounds. This engine is paired to a 5 speed Manual Gearbox and a 6 speed Automatic is also on offer. But expected that it might get it in near future. The 2.7l vvt-i petrol mill is also tweaked to meet stringent bs6 emission norms and regulations.
The 2.8l D-4D mill, which was paired to a 6 speed Torque converter Automatic, is no more a part of Innova Family which depicts it's discontinuation. Manufacturer hasn't revealed it's updated power and torque figures yet. But they will reveal in future. There are no cosmetic changes made in Innova Crysta. But the difference is in the mechanical counterpart, rest is same as it's predecessor.
