Toyota RAV4 Adds New Trim Level For 2021

The RAV4 begins the 2021 model year with slightly higher pricing and a new trim level. For the upcoming model year the RAV4 hybrid will be available in the XLE Premium trim and the TRD Off-Road model will add a skid plate.

Pricing
Gas models will start $100 higher than the previous model year, now beginning at $27,255 for the front-wheel-drive LE model. An extra $1,400 will get you all wheel drive on all models. The RAV4 hybrid starts $150 higher at $29,675 and comes with standard all wheel drive. In addition, an XLE Premium trim level will be available on hybrid models with a starting price of $33,675. This new trim level adds a sunroof, 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, and leather seating.
The plug-in hybrid RAV4 Prime is new for 2021 and starts at $39,275. A $500 increase has made its way to the TRD Off-Road model, it starts at $36,955 now and comes with a front skid plate. The TRD Off-Road trim level buys you different wheels, tuned suspension, 8.6 inches of ground clearance, and all-terrain tires - so owners can drive on the soccer field with ease.
Powertrain
Gas LE, XLE, XLE Premium, and Limited models are powered by a 2.5 L I-4 and an 8-speed automatic transmission. Hybrids get a 2.5 L hybrid powertrain with an ECVT.
