..."Trabant was the first mass production car that had a synthetic chassis..." and people were laughing about our 'plastic' car (it was a cotton-phenolic resin mix called Duroplast©). Nowadays, every car has many plastic parts - or even a completely synthetic chassis (carbon fiber). So there.
