Tram tracks: an enemy or a harmless part of the environment.

In Russia, tram tracks are a huge headache for motorists

Broken tires, bent wheels and a crippled suspension are all about Russian tram tracks that you have to drive in cars. In Russia, the problem of corruption of responsible figures is well reflected in broken roads. Especially where there are trams and cars. Cheap materials and lack of standards quickly destroy the road, and then Russian cars.

I was wondering how things are going with them in other countries, is it possible to cross tram tracks without pain and fear elsewhere.

  • Where I live everything is perfect, the rails are perfectly fitted in the roads. The only drawback is that you can get your bicycle wheels “stuck” in the rails

  • The issue is you cannot tarmac up to the back of the rails otherwise, well, that picture happens. Crossing units are used and the rails sit on beams when roads cross the tracks. I think you have on street running? In which case it should be cast in concrete during construction.
