travel stories: malaysian car history

- Next to the Sepang F1 circuit is the "National Automobile Museum". It's mainly about the Malaysian car industry, so there is a reason it's tiny. This picture shows half the museum.
- The most interesting museum pieces were 3 Bufori's. Inspired on the 1930's British luxury cars, this Bufori MKII is from 1994. Every car is custom built to the owner's body size. Time to lose some weight or everyone on the road can guess your size!
- There is a reason Malaysian cars are not widely exported. Meet the Perodua Kenari.
- Proton DIY project, anyone?
- They did have pictures of pretty cars ;) Lotus was acquired by Proton in 1996, the same year they launched the Elise. In my humble opinion, Lotus has been building fantastic cars ever since. Thank you Proton!

I travel a lot for work. I always try to find time to enjoy local car culture. Even if it's only a tiny car museum at the national F1 circuit.
