TRIUMPH DAYTONA 765 MOTO2 LIMITED EDITION : THE MOTO2 REPLICA
After 9 seasons, the Moto2 sports management decided at the end of 2018 to change the supplier for the engines to be fitted on the bikes entered in the championship.
Instead of Honda, Triumph was chosen, which decided to celebrate the event at the British Grand Prix by presenting a limited variant of its own Daytona.
Called Daytona 765 Moto2 Limited Edition, it was built in 765 units for the North American market and 765 for the European market.
The bike is equipped with the same 130 hp three-cylinder engine with 80 Nm of torque managed by a six-speed gearbox mounted on racing vehicles.
The latter is equipped with the Triumph Shift Assist system which allows the clutch not to be used, both when engaging and when downshifting.
The 765 Moto2 can be configured in the five Rain, Road, Rider, Sport and Track modes to better adapt to the conditions of the route on which to drive.
The sports suspension was supplied by Öhlins while the braking system is represented by the Brembo Stylema system.
