Triumph is set to unveil its first motocross and enduro bikes
The British brand's partnered with Ricky Carmichael and Ivan Cervantes
Triumph has just dropped a huge bombshell – it's going to expand its range to include motocross and enduro bikes.
As well as being sold to the general public, the new range of bikes will provide the backbone for a factory race programme in both disciplines. To hit the ground running, Triumph has partnered with motocross (and stunt) legend Ricky Carmichael, as well as five-time Enduro World Champion Ivan Cervantes.
The pair of mud-plugging masters will help Triumph test and prep Triumph's upcoming motocross and enduro bikes – which will be announced in the coming months.
Nick Bloor, the CEO of Triumph, said: "Today's announcement marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Triumph brand, which everyone at Triumph is incredibly excited to be part of. We are 100% committed to making a long-lasting impact in this highly competitive and demanding world, with a single-minded ambition to deliver a winning motorcycle line-up for a whole new generation of Triumph riders."
