Turkey Rod Run 2016

The sound of rolling thunder and the smell of petrol in air while gazing at the cars of yesteryear is something to behold.

This was a show I've been hearing about for years from my elders since I was a kid.
Years before I even knew what these machines were all about, the sounds of the cars were like rolling thunder making their way down the streets. The smell of gasoline in the air as they pass by with the sound of their cams filling your ear drums was a memory I'll never forget with my father when I was a kid.

THIS SHOW IS MASSIVE!!

When you get closer to the Daytona Turkey Rod Run, you'll know it.
Your modern cars start to get overshadowed by pantina painted trucks, rat rods sporting some wild custom work (snake exhaust tips, or bullets around headlights) and your classic colors like Dodge Chargers sporting plum crazy purples, and Tiffany Blue Chevy Bel Airs.
This show is on for 4 days, When you walk into the Daytona Speedway, you find out why!

THIS SHOW IS MASSIVE!!

Cars from yesteryear both American and a few foreign gems can be seen amongst the amazing display of classic cars. If you're interested in some tips on starting your own build or if you got the itch to buy a classic car look no further because you've come to the right place.

Believe it or not, this isn't only a 4-day classic car show but a swap meet as well. Cars and parts are for sale amongst vendors and locals from all over Florida.
What place can you pick up a bite to eat, talk about how to get an LS motor into a '68 Camaro, and buy yourself a supercharger. Yup...all in one place.

If you haven't been and you love cars, Give this show a look. It starts on Thursday of Thanksgiving day and ends on the Saturday of November.
And last I'll leave you with some words of wisdom my dad always told me.
The second and last day are the best days for this show, The second day everyone is there and settled. The last day nothing beats the sounds of these guys leaving the Daytona Speed Way...Imagine a thunderstorm, but replaced with the sound of cams and V8's!
It's music to my ears.
