Mercedes stationed itself on the top as Valtteri Bottas headed F1 Tuscan GP FP3 but Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen separated the two with Lewis Hamilton third.

Bottas (1m16.530s) continued his top stay at Mugello in F1 Tuscan GP as he led the FP3 session by a mere 0.017s from Red Bull's Verstappen (1m16.547s), whose late lap put him in between the Finn and Hamilton (1m16.613s), who was 0.083s away from teammate.

The trio were the only ones to dip into the 1m16s as Racing Point's Lance Stroll (1m17.112s) slotted in fourth from AlphaTauri's Pierre Gasly (1m17.226s), who managed to beat the other Racing Point of Sergio Perez (1m17.341s).

The Frenchman brought out the yellow flags due to a gravel excursion. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc (1m17.488s) continued his good run in seventh as a late lap from Red Bull's Alexander Albon (1m17.538s) put him in eighth despite an off moment.

AlphaTauri had a good run with Daniil Kvyat (1m17.627s) in ninth as Haas' Romain Grosjean (1m17.635s) rounded out the Top 10 with Renault's Esteban Ocon (1m17.746s) missing out in 11th from McLaren's Carlos Sainz (1m17.768s).

The Haas driver had another run-in, this time with a Alfa Romeo Racing. The two of them were 13th and 14th as Antonio Giovinazzi (1m17.812s) headed Kimi Raikkonen (1m17.843s), with Haas' Kevin Magnussen (1m18.039s) in 15th.

Williams' Nicholas Latifi (1m18.072s) ended up 16th ahead of Renault's Daniel Ricciardo (1m18.142s), Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel (1m18.186s), McLaren's Lando Norris (1m18.826s) and teammate George Russell, who had brake-by-wire issue to have no lap set - where it wasn't clear why the trio were so far down with likely that they did not get a clean lap.
