Two ponies collide with this Ferrari-powered Mustang

1y ago

Every year, SEMA delivers some crazy cars such as a Hellcat-powered Prius and heavily customised sports cars, but nothing like this Mustang.

When it comes to modified Mustangs, they're usually the same, with power coming from a Ford V8, but this example, named 'Corruptt' has a Ferrari V8 under the bonnet

Purchased on eBay, the unit is a hybrid F136 engine, with the bottom end from an F430 and the intake of a California, plus two turbochargers.

Stock, the engine is making 373kW, but with the added turbos, power is said to be increased to 522kW.

Built by American Legends, a workshop that specialises in muscle cars, every inch of this pony has been modified, but without ruining the classic '68 look.

Through a Bluetooth system, the car can be controlled via an iPad, which can open the doors, turn on the air conditioning and fire up the V8.

It isn't a video game though, you still need a steering wheel to drive this 'Stang.

Is this the coolest build at SEMA? Let us know in the comments.

  • Now this is what a “True Build” is. Not some mamby pamby off the shelf plug and play parts that anyone could build no electric car here
