Kia has released pricing for the Carnival minivan, which replaces the Sedona and is obtainable with many new features. Starting at $32,100, the 2022 Carnival undercuts rivals such as the Toyota Sienna ($34,460), but can top out at $46,100 for the SX Prestige model. The 2022 Kia Carnival will go on sale in the second quarter of this year with 4 trim levels available.
The 2022 Carnival is vastly improved over the Sedona, with revised technology, including a standard 8-inch infotainment screen and 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, SUV-like styling, and a 3.5 L V6 that produces 290 horsepower. The Carnival is front-wheel drive only, unlike competitors such as the Chrysler Pacifica. At the rear of the minivan can be what the automaker calls "VIP Lounge Seating", reclining seats that have heating and ventilating functions.
Pricing starts at $32,100 for the base LX ($34,100 with seating package), $37,600 for the EX, $41,100 for the SX, and $46,100 for the fully-loaded SX Prestige. The 2022 Kia Carnival is scheduled to reach dealerships in the second quarter of 2021.
