Update: the way you log into DriveTribe on app is changing

We're phasing out Facebook log in. Here's what this means for your account.

Due to changes in Facebook's app integration, the DriveTribe and FoodTribe apps will soon no longer use Facebook for log-in. This means that you will only be able to log into the DriveTribe and FoodTribe app with an email address.

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?

If your DriveTribe account currently uses Facebook to log in, you'll need to go to Settings and add an email address you can use to log in.

You can do this on app by going to your your profile, clicking the Tool icon > Settings & Privacy > Account Settings > Change Email > type the email address you wish to use to log in

Alternatively, you can do it on web.

If your DriveTribe account doesn't use Facebook to log in, you can ignore this post.

I'VE TRIED DOING THIS, BUT IT SAYS THAT MY EMAIL ADDRESS IS ALREADY IN USE

This means you have a second - potential accidentally set-up - account on DriveTribe linked to the email address you tried to add.

To fix this, log into that account using the email address (you'll receive a sign-in email to your inbox) and delete the account. Then you can add the email address to your primary account. Alternatively, use a different email address.

IF I COMPLETELY IGNORE THIS POST, WILL I LOSE MY ACCOUNT WITH ALL MY WORK?

No accounts will be lost. You will also be able to continue to use your Facebook account to log into the DriveTribe website. However, the app will require an email tied to your account to log in.

  • I created a first account a while ago but then started logging in with my Apple ID. However, this has meant I can’t log in on the website or any device that isn’t linked to my Apple ID.

    I deleted the first account which I thought would work. It hasn’t. Whenever I try to log in with my email (linked to Apple ID) it tries to get me to make a new account.

    Any help is good thanks
