Upgraded Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé4 debuts with 6-cylinder engines and new interior
And yes, new interior = bigger touchscreen
You gotta love Mercedes-Benz. First they unveil the Mercedes-AMG GT - a 2-door sports coupe - and then they build a spin-off version of it, which is also called the 'AMG GT', except it has four doors instead of two. And then they update it and change the name to Coupè4 because they realize the name might create some confusion. Mercedes have been doing this since the dawn of time. A million different models with several interpretations and variants.
This, when all is said and done, is a 4-door supercar that's supposed to look like a coupe and for their Model Year 2022, they've upgraded the suspension and are now offering new wheel options, new materials, new exterior colours (Sienna Brown, Classic Red, Yacht Blue, Deep White, Neva Grey) and the latest MBUX 'Widescreen Cockpit'. There are also new AMG 20-inch, 10-spoke wheels and 21-inch, 5-spoke wheels, both available with red calipers.
The upgraded AMG GT Coupè4 is available with the 43 EQ Boost engine, putting out 389 PS (including the small electric unit), the 53 4Matic+ EQ Boost combines a 435 PS petrol engine with a tiny 22 PS electric unit, and then there's the good old 63 S 4Matic+, with the 639 hp V8.
Money no object: would you buy this, the C-Class, the S-Class, the E-Class or the CLS?
