Valentino Rossi: MotoGP not in VR46 team plans

Valentino Rossi has denied that his VR46 team has any plans in place to join the MotoGP class.

Rumours of such a move were denied last season, but recently resurfaced.

On Friday at the Spanish MotoGP Rossi reaffirmed that, while Dorna would be happy for VR46 to step-up to the premier-class, they already have their hands full with Moto2 and Moto3.

"No, no. Is not true. But last year there was already [talk] like this," Rossi said of the VR46 MotoGP rumours. "Carmelo [Ezpeleta] said to me he would be very happy if I have a team in MotoGP. So thanks to Carmelo, but at this moment it is not in our plan.
