Valhalla, here we come.

Aston-Martin has unveiled the all-new Valkyrie Spider today at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance 2021 and it is a beautiful creature. This vehicle has the same carbon-fiber body and 6.5L V12-hybrid powertrain as the Valkyrie Coupe, but it seems to have lost its roof. And it looks awesome. This car will barely compromise the power output of its brother, making 1,139 horsepower, which is 98% of the original power output of the Valkyrie Coupe. Not bad for slicing the roof off. It can hit 205 miles per hour without its roof, but Aston Martin also offers a removable hinged roof panel that bumps the top speed to 217 miles per hour by improving the aerodynamics of the vehicle.

This roof panel is hinged so the driver and passenger don't have to smash their heads into it when they enter or exit this magnificant creature. Having a roof also helps if Freyr and Thor decide to get up to some mischief and cause a thunderstorm.

I would even say that the Spider looks even better than the already handsome Coupe. Here are a couple of photos for comparison.

The doors on the Spider are a lot more visually appealing than the Coupe, and the overall profile of the car, especially the side profile, seems more sleek and smooth than the Coupe.
