Verstappen Signs New Contract!

It's until 2023

1y ago

Reports today from Red Bull and Autosport have announced that Max Verstappen has indeed decided to stay on a as a Red Bull racing driver until 2023.

This means that he is now off the market until 2023 and those rumours of him going to Mercedes or Ferrari for 2021 are now not true.

This is a strange. Earlier in the year it was rumoured that Jos Verstappen and Max had been on the phone to Mercedes earlier in the year suggesting a merc drive in 2021.

There were also reports of Ferrari too.

However this suggests to me that Max has seen something at Red Bull that have convinced him to stay for that long. Could we be seeing a Red Bull title challenge this season?

Or is this in the wake of Charles Leclerc new Ferrari deal...

2021 is already hotting up

  • Red Bull just love any young driver. Vettel over Webber, Ricciardo over Vettel, Max over Ricciardo, what's next?

  • Talk of Mercedes leaving F1 in 2021 so seat no seat available there and Ferrari are obviously backing Charles as there number one driver.
