Sebastian Vettel and Mick Schumacher are the latest drivers to be officially confirmed as entrants onto the all-star list of ROC competitors.

Next February’s Race of Champions will move away from the traditional stadium-style circuit to a rally-esque course on the snow and ice of Pite Havsbad in Sweden.

The event to be held on the 5th and 6th February also features the likes of Sebastien Loeb, Jimmie Johnson, Mattias Eskstrom, Mika Hakkinen and Valtteri Bottas. The Finnish Mercedes F1 ace has previous experience of the Artic Rally Championship in Lapland, something Vettel fears will go against the German team.

"The competition will be very strong especially from the Nordic drivers who have a lot more experience than us driving on snow and ice," he said.

"I’m really looking forward to being back competing in the Race of Champions again and to represent Germany together with Mick."

"At ROC Mexico, we came second in the ROC Nations Cup, so our aim is to do one better in Sweden."

Vettel and Schumacher have teamed up before in ROC finishing second behind Team Nordic’s Johan Kristoffersson and Tom Kristensen in the Mexico F1 circuit stadium in 2019. Both Kristofferson and Kristensen will defend their title in Sweden.

Mick's father Michael drove alongside Vettel in the ROC Nations Cup team title on many occasions boasting a combined F1 championship total of eleven, winning the event six times.

"I so very much look forward to meeting all the other drivers and spending time with them during the Race of Champions weekend," says Schumacher.

"The snow and ice promises to make this ROC event extremely special, and I am more than sure the drivers will have a crazy good time together in Sweden."
