Are you craving some motorsport that isn't restricted by pesky 'rules' and 'safety?' Do you want to enjoy some motorsport that'll suspend the laws of physics on roads that go through your local village? If you answered 'yes' to all of the above, it is time to go back in time 30 odd years and relive the magic and danger that was Group B rally.

Some of the most iconic rally cars of all time were the competitors of the world's most dangerous motorsport. 400bhp in chassis that weighed less than a crisp packet resulted in some ridiculous machines.

To take that journey in its entirety, watch the Donut Media video on everything you need to know about Group B. From the exciting start to the tragic end.

  • Sorry, but that Video is just bad. I watched the first minute of it and those clueless americans fucked it up immediately. Before Group B was Group 4 not Group A. Group A was introduced in 1982 just like Group B was. Also they explain the concept of rallying to a four year old and make it sound like they only drove on special stages and different surfaces in the Group B era. There is way better matirial out there that covers Group B or rallying in gernral.

    • I watch donut media not because of the “quality” but because to someone who already knows a decent amount about he subject, it is funny. James is a bit of an “odd individual”

  • I disagree that group B should be revived for modern days. It saddens me that the majority want it to return. It’s undoubtedly the best rally class, but all the things that made it dangerous (and caused its ban) also made it so amazing. Back then the skill that was required would be insulted by altering it for today’s standards. It could not be revived as group B
