Video: Young Elon Musk collects his McLaren F1
Cast you mind back to 1999. The internet was finally respected as a necessity, rather than a passing fad and some people had made millions out of it. One of those tech-wizards was Mr Tesla himself, Elon Musk. He sold his company Zip2, which allowed Newspapers to publish articles online, for $400 million cash.
What do you do when $400 million enters your bank account? That's right, you go and buy a McLaren F1. In 1999 Elon Musk was only 28 years old and managed to buy his dream car.
